What are your temps? I would consider a trip to the vet.

the temp in the cage is 88-90 in the day, and around 80 at night...also, should i turn off the heat pad at night?

You need to provide a temperature gradient. I have found that an ambient temperature of 78 degrees at the cool end and 88 degrees at the warm end with a localized hot spot of 90-95 degrees provides for the temperature needs of your BP.

He defently has a respitory infection you need to take him to the vet as soon as posible because if he get repitory soars they offten cant help them. If hes spitting mucus hes had this for a long time and he needs to go to the vet as soon as possible. Also raise the temp in his cage
