I've been lurking for awhile, just wanted to say hello, and that i will look forward to being here more and more.

I have been into herps since i was 5, which makes for 30 years. My earliest recollection being a vision of me chasing my lil brother around with a garter snake that my father had cut in half when cutting the lawn....ohh to be a kid again.

I have kept a various amount of species, and even hots...i love animals in all forms, but have a fondness for lizards, tegus especially. I have bred 3 different species of gecko, none of them typical in todays market. I used to keep 1.2 Columbian B&W tegus, but because of a marriage i had to let them go to a breeder. needless to say i am not married anymore :-p I purchased a Argentine last fall and enjoy keeping herps as always. I have kept extensive records of a lot of my herps, including feeds, growth and mating. I believe in responsible keeping and advocate education to those who are ignorant. I have kept some real hard to maintain species, such as Rock pythons, Cooks Tree Boas, Hogg Island Boas, Ahaetulla prasina vines, velvet geckos, and rescued a few nile monitors as well.

I have been away from herps for close to 5 years, but that's about to change drastically....regards
