Shed question?

when my snake sheds in comes off in a bunch of little pieces. Is this normal or ok ?

It is my understanding that when a snake sheds in lots of pieces, it may mean that the humidity was too low during the shed phase. Many people increase humidity when the snake goes opaque. You can simply put in a damp paper towel, or damp moss into the snake's enclosure. Some people set up a seperate hide that has damp moss in it.
When your snake sheds in pieces, I don't think that it is a major disaster as long as you are sure all of the old skin eventually came off. If pieces of skin stay attached for too long ( a few days is OK) there can be very negative consequences.

Placing the snake in an escape proof plastic box with wet paper towels should remove stuck shed skin.
