earthworms

can i feed my red tegu earthworms from a baitshop??????and can they eat like little feeder fish????also when you feed them ground turkey do you feed it raw or cooked

You have to be carefull about getting earthworms from a baitshop. I work for a fish lure company and ALOT of live worms these days are treated with color and scent to help attract fish. It doesn't hurt the worm but could be toxic to your lizard or snake. The store keeper should know if he purchased the treated worms or just plain old nightcrawlers.

From the sound of your post it appears your Red has begun eating. I remember your recent posts re probs you were having getting him to eat. We were having the same probs with our little Arg Red. Has yours begun to eat? If so, what did the trick for you?
