Gravid or not spotted python

SalS Jun 20, 2003 09:57 PM

I'm really confused. Several months ago my spotted python started to turn herself over, basking with the ventral scales up. (she is with a male) Later she spent quite a bit of time in her egg laying box and shed. Then nothing. For about a month she has been acting like she always has been before. Then last night I see her lying upside down again? Anyone have any ideas on what could be going on with her?

I would bet she is gravid still. But I am an optimist.
