A Serious matter....

Check out RATSNAKE FORUM: PEOPLE LIKE THIS OUGHT TO BE SHOT

Here we have a seven year old girl that is being praised for shooting a black Rat Snake. The girl's father knew it was harmless and even caught it and placed it where his daughter could shoot it repeaedly. The excuse for killing it was that it had taken some eggs out of the hen house and the little girl was angry.

He also has allready taught her that it's fun to shoot deer. He started her shooting at age four.

The girl thinks this is all fun. Does this give you chills....or what?

I can't say even killing a potentially HARMFUL snake is okay in my mind. I live in a rural area and as far as I'm concered the land that I live on is THEIRS, not mine. I would never (intentioally) kill anything that roamed around. It's just wrong. And we're supposed to be the civilized species?
