I have been involved with many types of reptiles in my life. I grew up in Utah and would head out in the West desert to catch Rattlesnakes and other reptiles.

I would like to find out if anyone knows the best public places in Texas where I might be able to look for snakes, mainly Vipers. I live in the Dallas area and would prefer to find a location that is not too far from here.
