Last year I only got 2 babies from this girl. 3 eggs had gone bad & two hatched. One went into surgery the day she hatched because of an umbilical evisceration. Well that girl is doing just fine today.

Anyway,, look what I found tonight. I caught her laying some HUGE eggs! I'll give a final count later.

The girl I just posted above is my female Zipper. I'll let you know if any of the babies come out with it.

Later.

Cool,
I have hatched out about 15 or so with the zipper pattern from my male.I will be keeping the most aberrant feamel back this year to see if it will get even more aberrant in the next generation.
I would be posting pics but since I got my computer back from the dead it won't let me anymore?
I up load them to the gallery and just get the red x

I remember that baby you post on the forum. Happy to hear that she is doing fine. Hope you will get more nice Tangerine Albino babies this year. Take care. Eric

Well there were 4 eggs, one of which was a dud. These things are almost 4" long. I guess that's a trade off??? Possibly bigger babies VS more smaller ones?
Please let me know if any of you have bigger but fewer eggs, or is my female just not a big producer.

Thanks.

I had that happen with one of my tricolor hondurans. It layed only 5 eggs, and they were all very long -- almost like duck eggs. They didn't look anything like any of the other honduran eggs I got this year. They are due to hatch in a couple of weeks.
