in the making ! This is my male 2002 Burlington Co., New Jersey Eastern. He is 34" and is one the most muscular snakes Ive ever held. Judging from his size with a very average diet of 3 pinks a week then as he got bigger he went to 3 fuzzies every 10 days. This is far from power feeding and he still got huge. He is 5" longer than my other male 2002 who has eaten at the same time and had the same amount up until the fuzzies becuase he wasnt large enough to handle 3. Anyway this boy is destined to be a 6 footer+ I think.

That's a beauty Keith. I love the pattern on the sides, I never noticed that. Are most Easterns like that? Great pic, good luck with the snake. Tom

Hello Tom,
One thing Ive noticed with Eastern Kings is that the more northerly ranging animals (NC up to NJ) have a higher side chains. All my Nj's and MD locale Easterns are prime examples of this (see my female Burlington NJ female posted at the top of the forums).

Sorry to hear about the OBK getting away...that's a bummer. Perhaps he'll re-appear soon. I had one of the Easterns I've raised since birth get out in my one bedroom apartment in Tallahassee and I also found a turd "package" under my couch, but then like a week later he should up under the couch looking right at me and READY to go back into his cage!
The female is doing fine; I'm leaning her up a bit which she doesn't like, but it's a nice snake and should be a pretty adult.
The GA boy rules though!
