One of the big guys out there told me he had a friend that had a import he got in the 70's that is breeding. Also the person had a large female that breeds and he has had it around 15 years.

Ball Pythons can live into their 40's, and perhaps longer. Females over 20 years of age are still regularly producing good clutches of viable eggs - so I see no reason why a 16 year old female should not be able to breed for another ten years if she is kept healthy and well fed.

Ball pythons can breed all the way in to there 20's. But I would suggest only breeding her every third year
