I really enjoyed looking through the site, I wanted to post some pics but i am not sure if I registered correctly. This site has potential. OK cody, I read your articles (have someone proof read those lol). you stated things on the larger side. 12-14 is not anywhere near average for an adult male green...knock about 1-3 feet off both sides. 30+ years...I hope so but I believe the oldest anaconda on record lived to be 31. We should also put information up about the rarely spoke of anacondas. There is no information around about beniensis and deschauenseii...e mail the man with the photo of one and see if you can use it for your website...that is the only picture I have ever seen of one. If we pile information together on one site this can be extremely informational as well as fun. Let me know if there is anything you guys want from me to help you out. Before adding more "facts and information" to that site, I would post what you plan on puttin in here to get opinion from others on how credible and acurate the info is. now how do I become a member since i dont think it worked and how do I post pics?..ps check out this ball python after the most massive poop ever, she looks like a 6 year old in her parents clothes after this...I have never seen anything like it. she was solid before this.

I too have been thinking on what article topic I should write on. It might be a good idea to split it up amongst us here. Getting signed up for the site was pretty straightforward for me. As well as uploading pics.

You can click the "register" link on the left of the homepage then it'll email you a verification for your account. So if you gave it a fake email you'll have to re-register. I did not see any users listed as "awaiting approval" though. You may wish to re-register. If you need help my MSN Messenger email is "webmaster@cihnetworks.com". Hope this helps.

ok i signed u in. i said condas can live 30 years if they are cared for properly. it used that so show that this is an animal that will be around for a long time. Male green condas get that big it might not be that common but they do. i do not any thing about the other 2 species. i do not know there range or wild statis there size or behavour.
u can go in the site now i set u up

Thanks cody..I know what you are saying. I just said you were a bit high...I have actually never heard of a 14 ft male though. And anacondas will range between 10-20 but there are cases of older ones and I guess it could happen to anyone. I was just letting you know that. I got your point as well...thats why I mentioned it the way I did. You were not really incorrect, just a bit of exageration. E. beniensis is a bolivian anaconda which is slightly smaller than E. murinus, darker in coloration and the stripe on its head is also much darker and not a prominant. Kelly posted below about how there is a rox of subocular scales as well that do not exist in beniensis but do in murinus. as well, the yellow centers in the spots on the side of murinus do not exist and they are more virtical and oblong solid spots. As far as descauenseii, it was thought to only be seen on marajo island and sometimes called the marajo island anaconda. It is also slightly smaller than murinus and looks very similar to the green yellow hybrids. I believe the range of this is also being a bit more spread but still very limited. Did you say you signed me up? what is my user name and password? and I did not use a fake e mail either...so I think I am just bad at computers. By the way, my green ate a scented small rat today (hardly made a dent). Yellows are plowing the mice. and now for my fav pic again
