Would it be ok to buy either as my first snake?Or are female more relaxed then males?

As far as disposition, it's not the sex that matters, it's the particular snake. I have snakes in both sexes that range from just plain irritable & strike prone, to very easy to handle and relaxed. Just like people, it depends on the particular snakes personality. I haven't noticed that either sex in general is more docile.
