Yes it's a dumb idea. It doesn't sound like you understand the finer points of crocodilian ownership.The animal would die as it had imprinted on humans for food. The obvious one is Turkey has NO crocodilians. You can't just get an animal and then get rid of it when it's inconvenient to you. An animal is a responsibility all it's life and a mighty long one for crocodilians I might mention. I'd suggest a dog or cat!!!

yes, today i found out they dont live there, people must release unwanted pets there and they are thriving. how about getting a dwarf caiman and keeping it in a pond with a light and stuff?
Much better choice but I'd check the FAQ pages for care and housing info but here again remember they live a LONG time and it's quite a commitment.
