I wouldn't call it stupid just because you disagree with the forum's terms. Some folks prefer to keep their forums for adults.

well i dont really like it, its not like 10 year olds, er 11 year olds (my b-day is in like, six days or so) are gonna kill the forum

Just because you can be mature doesn't mean all 10-11 year olds can. There are a lot of 18 and up forums out there. Sometimes people want to be able to discuss things as adults and not censor themselves for children. There are a lot of places that are adult-only, on the internet and in real life. You'll understand some day.

have some one sign you in as a parent as on some chat/message boards. I do know that some web sites ( including reptile sites ) get pretty nasty. But I wonder if Bob is taking note of when he was young and how he would of felt in those days ( I knew Bob at a very young age )if the net had been around and these reptile message boards had been around if he was not able to...............

If it was my forum I would probably do the same thing. Or just block the little kids that can't type and post off topic stuff.

don't you think these web sites have maybe propelled and given knowledge to ( for good or bad ) kids on the keeping, wanting, health issues, etc. of reptiles . I certainly do ! While I know that most kids can lurk on some sites, but some you have to log-in in order just to lurk. Hey...didn't this very site have a age sign in one time ? I think I remember that some 5 or 6 years ago.
