Hi all. We have had Forest since Valentine's Day (adoption day!!!) and while he's figured out his own "space" in our home & in our yard (his lawn chairs & wicker dome), he has never really roamed around the house. Until now!

The past couple days he's been a wandering fool. He slept at our feet watching TV last night, on the floor & has found his way into my son's bedroom & onto Trey's bed. PILLOWS!!!

The last 3 days, I've had to drag him off Trey's pillows & I get this "ig look" in return, like I ruined some dream he was having on this new found SOFT bed of his. Sooooo....I decided to give him one of Trey's pillows. The lizard LOVES it & now he won't get off! LMAO.

I seen him earlier trying to eat the reindeers red nose!!! What a stich. I walk by him & tell him I'm gonna take his pillow & I get that ONE eyeball glaring at me. Hehe.

Just a funny story, thought I'd pass it along...tree climbers? Yeah right...my boy is a princess!

I swear, when God was handing out personality to iguanas, Forest got in line twice

That nasty, snappy, male breeding season induced, cranky ass that was here the past couple weeks in place of my NOW happy, lovable, kissable, snuggly baby

my Zeph does the same thing. Hes also got a 4 or 5 foot stuffed animal iguana that he sleeps on, under, or next to. He has to be layed out on a pillow (usually the one pillow I use) or sleeping stretched out on my backrest

That would be so cute to see an ig snuggled up with a stuffed lizard toy. Too cute.

If I had known Forest loved pillows so much I would have given him one earlier. LOL

I know there a couple different measurements you can state for your igs length but I'm not sure of the difference.

Forest is between 4 1/2-5 feet long from nose to tail tip. He wiggles when we try to measure him so...it's as close as we can get. I need to try it when he's soaking in the tub!

STL is snout to tail lenth. you measure from the tip of the snout to the tip of the tail

SVL is snout vent length, you measure from the tip of the snout to the vent.

this is how I understand it..if im wrong,or theres more ways, let me know

Nope, those are what I was thinking of.

Forest is a little over 4 1/2 feet from nose to tail tip.
