Why do Womas cost so much? Are they rare, hard to breed, ect??

They are extremely common throughout a large portion of Aus.
They are illegal to export from Aus.
The only ones here are ones that have trickled in thru various means, making them rather uncommon in the US.
They are really cool pythons and somewhat difficult to hatch the eggs.
The price will continue to come down a bit. They used to be a lot more expensive than they are now.

If you think they cost alot now I bought my first pair from VPI for 7,000.00 in 1996.
