size of mealworm/waxworm for FBT?

violentxuprising Jul 10, 2004 03:09 AM

hi, i have just "regular" sized mealworm/waxworm for my gecko, i am wondering if that sized worms can also be fed to a normal sized adult FBT (not a froglet). thanks.

Waxworms are fine to feed the toads, but I'd stay away from mealworms. Mealies have a very hard exoskeleton and can be difficult for the toads to digest.

You shouldn't feed mealworms to your toad because of their tough exoskeleton. Small crickets are best.
