I have a DH snow male that is a close to 3ft, but not quite. Will he be large enough to safely breed to my 8ft female next spring? I've read that a 3ft male can breed, but I have 2 concerns with my matchup. I don't want 1 baby and 25 slugs, and I don't want my little male crushed by the big female. Should I just skip next year and try when he's more ready for it? The female is a little underweight, but should fatten up some by spring. Her previous owner only fed her 1 jumbo rat a month! I just got her and she is only 26lbs at 8ft, 3 inches. I don't think she has ever been with a male before.

Sorry for the huge pic of the female, but I don't know how to make it smaller
