I had fairly rough luck last year with crickets. I'd order them, and then really never know when they were coming. When they did come, most of the time there was a lot of die-off.
Now I found out about a place that's local, and they deliver next day for a reasonable price because they are in town
The downside is that you have to order at least 1000, but for beardies this isn't so bad because smaller is better anyway, so I just order them small.

Really, where about in Minnesota are they located? Are their crickets good?
I ordered on a Monday and a courier showed up at my door early on Tuesday.
What they brag about is that they raise thier bugs indoor all year round, because in Minnesota, they have to have the facilities to do so 9 months of the year.
That way you don't end up with all kinds of creepy crawlies in your crickets. It's true, I didn't end up with those beetle larvae this time.
I found out about them from a science teacher at Breck who has lots of herps in her classroom.
