Ther isn't enough information to really help you out there. I've seen cheaper baby retics if that's waht you're asking.
The only person that can answer that is you. Do you like the snake and would be willing to pay $150 for it? If so, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Our wildlife center takes in a half dozen "stray" retics every year ranging from hatchlings to large adults and never pay for these. But recently, I paid close to $200 for a beautiful yellow headed retic that I wanted badly...irregardless of what others may have felt, it was well worth the price I paid. The real question you should be asking is whether or not you are ready for a giant constricting snake. In our experience, most folks, though well meaning, are not ready for this type of commitment. Good luck. Rob
