Hello all, im now gettting into frogs and ordered all but the frogs, can frog climb plastic like they can glass? I wanted to set up this neat jungle atmosphere in a vision cage is why im asking and they have those hiding places above the door..Otherwise I will just stick with a secure 20gl and plan on getting firebellies or leopard and a group of them for the appropriate size tank. Looking through the photo gallery to get some tank setup ideas and I must say, WOW! I plan on having a river run through the middle and wind itself around with pebbles on the bottom, then bed a beast, then plants. I want it to look neat for displaying. Well I'll be checking in often and looking at more pictures. So share your sucess stories and what frogs you have a recommend for a beginner. thnks

A Firebellied toad is probably a good beginnerfrog. Leopardfrogs I know almost nothing about, but they also seem good for beginners. Otherwise Pacmans are good, but can only be kept on in a tank since they are cannibalistic. I'm not sure, but I think Whites Treefrogs may be another good option.
You asked if the frogs could climb glass, that totally depends on what frog it is. The only frog I know that can climb on glass, or anything for that matter, of the above is Whites Treefrog.

Good luck

Yeah those frogs are good beginer frogs, I started out with some sort of frog (it hasn't growna centimeter since last august when it morphed)Frogs that climb glass can, of course climb platic just as easily.CLimbing frogs (that i know of) are called Treefrogs to stop them getting out put a lid over it. But with tree frogs your going to need a lot of humidity in there tank so if you do get a tree frog don't get a screen lid, instead get an aquarium lid that way it has a light, and keeps in moister.

Another beginer frog (my least favorite) are african clawed frogs, they're completly aquatic.Your pet store might even have dwarf versions of these frog (about the size of a guppy) these frog eat pellets instead of crickets, and other bug. so if you don't like toching them these frogs may be the way to go
