03' CB amel everglades pic . . . .>

terryp Jul 10, 2004 12:06 PM

Here's a pic of one of the amel glades that I received last season. He came from a clutch of Marcia Lincoln bloodline everglades. I've only seen the amels as adults which are a deep red color with no stripes showing. I don't know if this one will turn out like that. Supposedly, the amel gene in true everglades is linked to the Marcia Lincoln everglade bloodline. There's been a lot of "hands in the cookie jar" with this bloodline over the last several years so some Marcia Lincolns may be mucked up.

That's a very pretty snake Terry. Congrats! It'll be interesting to see how it turns out as an adult.

Best,
David

I was looking for something to post to follow those exciting amel climacs you hatched out this year. That was a great amel ratio in the clutch and a big boost for that beautiful morph. Here's an adult amel everglades to illustrate what I was saying about the color.
