Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be the best and safest sealer on a wood cage for a blackthroat? and also how many layers should be used to seal it? Thanks

I use a 2 part epoxy that sells under the name of West Systems, but it is best applied before the enclosure is assembled. Others use FRP board instead of a paint-on sealant. There are other choices, but the best thing you can do is a search through the forum archives, you'll find no shortage of answers and can make your decision based on several sources
