Would this work?

This is ment for geckos that are able to climb on glass etc.
To bury a small bowl or jar in the tank where you put the crickets so they can't get out. Then the geckos would climb down and eat as many as it wishes, and it would also be easier to keep track on how many it has eaten. Has anyone tried anything similiar?

I've done that with Dingo my Giant Day Gex. I mde sure tho that the dish/jar had a large opening. Sometimes hed eat other times he wouldn't. but it is easier to monitor.

My only objection to this would be fat geckos. If they never have to chase food and simply sit there and gorge themselves I dont think they would get excersize. Then again, I have never tried it with all foods, just treats. This is definetly true for bearded dragons and several other lizards I have worked with.
