In my experiences, buying Giant Mealworms is a rip off. Pretty much all they are are the bigger mealworms. So you end up paying more money for someone to sort out the bigger ones for you. So like regular mealworms, "Giants" can be refrigerated.

Supers on the other hand, are a completely different animal. They do look similar to mealworms, the 6 legs under the "head" and such, but are MUCH bigger than mealies and tend to be a darker color. Super worms also cannont be refrigerated, it will kill them. If your leo is large enough to eat them, they are a better choice than mealies. This is because your leo only has to eat 1-3 of them to be full, so it gets much more of the digestable portion of the worm with a lot less of the indigestable outer shell. This will help prevent impaction, though a diet of just mealies more than likely won't cause impaction either. But anything that you can do to reduce risks is worth it. Also, leo's tend to like Supers more because they run around a lot more and let the leo actually hunt something. This being said, you probablly won't beable to have a dish large enough to hold them that will also let your leo see into the bowl, unless your bowl is recessed into the floor. When I feed my leo Supers, I just drop one in the tank at a time and let her eat it and make sure she gets it down before i feed her the next one. I realize this is probablly more info than what you were looking for, but I wanted to share, I haven't posted on here for a few months, figured my first one back should be worth while =)
