spots or infection on my corn.

jazzmachine Jul 10, 2004 09:01 PM

Hey there, I posted a little while back about my snow corn looking like it's somewhat missing a few scales. She has shed since then, and it was full clean shed. But the spots have multiplied to where there is probably around 10 on her now. Some are bigger and some a quite small. They look kinda brown and like it's a cut or something. Don't have a camera, so I can't post any pics. Hopefully some of you can help out, and hopefully I am overreacting. Thanx in advance.

What kind of substrate are you using? What is your humidity level? Are they on the belly or just random?

Using woodchips I bought at the reptile store I got her from. They are on the top side of her, about an inch down from her head. Humidity level is pretty good, gets misted everyday. They are in a cluster in about an inch length. Very small. But even when you rub them you can feel the difference. She is still quite young as well. Everything else about her is perfect. Very active, handled all the time, very calm and gentle. Thanks for the help.

You dont need to mist her everyday..Too much humidity can cause scale rot.
