Hi, new to Milks, Question...........

FireDrake Jul 10, 2004 09:06 PM

I just got a pair of tangerine hondurans today. Now, they don't look to me like a lot of tangerines I have seen on this forum and other websites, (but I like them anyways)
My question is, what is their value. Like I said I think they are pretty but I plan on breeding them in the future and I'm realizing that they may not be as popular as some of the brighter snakes out there. They are supposedly Het albino, so that counts for something right?

The male, he's in shed right now.

I sense that you are hoping to make some money from them. I could understand if they were expensive morphs, but they aren't. And "supposed to be het albino" doesn't hold much water either. Bottom line: they aren't flashy, they aren't rare, they aren't locality, they aren't guaranteed hets.. they are worth what someone is willing to pay for what they are. Maybe $40.00 ea? I don't know.

If you look on the kingsnake.com colubrid classifieds, you'll see what people are asking.

ah well I couldnt expect more, I know they arent pied ball pythons or something. I am not expecting to make any money, if I do thats just a perk. I guess I just wanted to hear something more optimistic. I think they are pretty even if they did both chew on me. I got them on trade for a pair of baby albino jungle corns I produced this year, I always wanted tangerines, and hey, if they are really het albino, then I think I got the better deal.

Thanks
