First Leo doing GREAT, just a small question

pythonmomma Jul 10, 2004 09:19 PM

I got my first Leo 1 week ago. He/She was only eating a couple crickets until yesterday. I was going to get some crickets and accidently smashed the head of one of them. Out of curiosity I threw the cricket to the Leo. Pickles (my 2 year old names him/her) is now eating in an amazing way. Pickles has shed twice and is small. A hatchling I know that, but how much food is to much? I bought 2 dozen yesterday afternoon and now there are only 9 left. I put 3 in with their heads smashed and leave them about 2 hours and expect to take any out but I have not had to take one out yet. How many should it be eating? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Healthy hatchlings have ravenous appetites. Feed her as much as she will eat. Just make sure none of the crickets are too big for her or she may regurgitate.
