he wont eat ive cot baby fish and ive bought him some goldfish and he wont eat them.

How long ave you had it? How big is it? What are the temps, size enclosure, etc.? What method are you using to try to feed it? I figure you are putting it in water bowl. I f you are and it don't eat, put just a wee bit of water in the enclosure or something else if it does not hold water and drop the minnow in. I realy suggest to not feed it gold fish except evry now and then because of a number of reasons(do some research and you'll figure itout. Some people say gold fish won't hurt them but we all have different opinions and that is mine.

4 days,10",not sure of temps,and he has 1/2" of water in it with an island with a hide spot so i just pour the fish in the water.

If I understand correctly, you have waaaay to much water. Simply fix it up to where the substrate is something like aspen, paper towels, or newspaper. If you use pape towels, you do not realy have to have a hide spot becasue they hide underneath or inbetween paper towel sheets. Make sure thy are a it loose when you put them in. Only a small water bowl is required. Just large enough to where it can soak. Let it stay in that for about a day and then uncover the snake and drop a shiner inand let it flop around. They really like the motion and 99% of the time they go for it. If it does not go for it put it in a deli cup with a bit of water and put the fish in with it and leave the room. I have over somewhere around 10 or o midlands so I know hat I'm talking about. Only one has died with me and that was from me catching it and it already had some sort of infection. I had t kill it to keep it from suffering. They do not need a whole lot of room. Like someone usualy suggests, I think it is snakeguy88, keep it like a corn snake.
