Ball Python breeding racks

FOURFEETBALLS Jul 11, 2004 01:47 AM

Freedom Breeder vs. a enclosed rack like the Boaphile Ball Room rack I have heard good & bad about both. I do have a limited amount of space inside house and want to get a good rack for my BP'S to both keep and breed them in, any input would be a big help.

Freedom Breeder racks have mesh tops that are open to the room air. This means if the room air is cold, then your BP will feel that even with the bottom heat. If using FBs, make sure your room air temp doesn't fall below what BPs can handle as a low temp. Other than that FB racks are a fantastic way to keep BPs, and they make a size that is appropriate for BPs (not 28qt tubs which are too small for an adult female BP in my opinion.)
