Irian Jaya on fire.................................pic

KeoniKoch Jun 21, 2003 02:33 AM

Well maybe I am going overboard but she is really impressing me more and more with every shed, and for 90 bucks I think I did OK. Its amazing how different they can look after each one. I am hoping she only gets better with age. Thanks for looking.

I've had a cueball cut too for the last several years.
Maybe it is from all the intense thinking we do, we need the extra surface area to radiate the heat from our brains. Yeah...that's it!
Good to put some faces with names. I will do the same as soon as I stop looking so ugly in pictures.

yea I've had my head shaved for 7 years now. Mostly because I have such a huge head that I would look rediculous with hair. I have weights on my ankles so I don't float away.

My head isn't "shaved" but its damn close. I have a coastal carpet.

How long had you had your carpet before you shaved your head? Two weeks?

About two weeks, eyup. I think it's really a "carpet thing", they just make people want to shave their heads.

This is some weirdness. I have had a shaved head now for 7 years, but only owned carpets for 3 years.

I'm going to shave my head and post a pic this weekend! LOL!!

Hey, nice salmon/hyop by the way. Sunglows in the future??

JakeM Jun 21, 2003 07:35 PM

I used to have my head shaved until about seven months ago. In fact, my wife saw your picture Brian and said,"That looks like you when you had a goatee and your head shaved." Weird.

I haven't seen that many grow to adulthood, but mine did not improve with age. They were at their best at 2-3 years of age and then got darker. But they are still very nice, especially just after their shed. There should be quite some variation and I would like to see pics of older animals to see if there is that much variation.
