Is the humidity too high or enviroment too dusty as Indian star dun like high humidity n even Burmese star (forest species)dun like prolong humidity condition
Dusty maybe foreign object stuck in nostrils

wat i will do in this case is use a glass tank wif jus newspaper like a (2 feet X 1.5 X 1.5 feet )a 40 watts bulb on one side as the warmth help blood ciculation

I will use antibiotic (Ocylim - active ingredent Oxytetracyline)either as infection or Nasal spray directly into nostril

Where r u located State,Country

Thank for ur suggestion, I live in Indonesia, yes the humidity probably 90 percent of it. So is very high , I use panadol to cure ( i know is so silly, but i have tried so hard) My indian star has running nose for about 1 year already, he still keep eating like pig, but he wont grow big.I wonder why, could be running nose i guess. Do you have tortoise?

Jus one more question how does the stool come out (soft n food quite undigested)
Ur torts hav the runny nose for 12 months already n they still eating ?????? how can tat be

U give panadol tablets or liquid i think it is not as good but i hav not try B4

as u say it is not growing bcos after antibiotic treatment the gut is sterile as the antibiotic had kill off all bacteria good n bad the good bacteria is for food digestion
u should try to establish good bacteria into the gut (Vitagen yalkut, yorgurt )all can help build up the good bactera

I live in Malaysia i keep about 12 species (local n imported) tortoise n turtle i also hav the Indian star, some iguanas n many many non- reptilian pets

Ur burmese is the burmese star or the Burmese brown ???

Hi again,

To bad man, I have tried to looked up at chemistry, but they dont even no it was. I thought u might write wrong spelling. I took tablet and i crunch into powder, then i put water by using syringe, finaly i juz spray to his mouth, but result was none still the same. I tested to Indian star only, I dont try to burmese cos they too costly to try, they might die. . I have burmese star not the brown. Burmese star hard to find in the market, could you find easly in Malaysia? By the way , wat do u mean by stool? I dont keep turtle, only the albion i might collect.

hello,
increase their cage temp and make sure that the humidity level is correct! if nothing happens, bring it to the vet for medicine administration,etc...
