new bull snake

got2strum Jul 11, 2004 12:05 PM

Just got my first bull snake. Was wondering about their temperament.I was thinking of taking him out of his cage and placing him into a large plastic tub that already has mice in it to feed him.I thought that may make less of a chance of being bit when getting him out of his cage.Does anyone know if this works? Also if you are bit when getting them out should you get them out anyway or just let them go.Won't they associate biting with being put down?Just some knew owner questions. Thanks in advance for any help.
