Hello ya'll, I have a few questions to those of you out there that may know about gold tegus. I Have a Red, Blue, Argentine B&W, Columbian B&W. But I do not know much about the gold tegus. I tried looking at pics to see if they are argintinian or columbian. With no luck.
So are they more along the lines of the argentines, or columbians? Size is my next question, Are they samller like the blues or larger like the reds? And now temperment, Are they a little fiesty like the columbians or tend to be more mello like the argentine variety? I thank you all for your help. Take care and have a good day.

Gold Tegus are Colombian Tegus. they are just a color phase of them. everything that applies to the regular Black and White Colombians applies to the Golds.

There has been no concreat evedence that golds and Columbian Blk& wht tegus are the same Speices, but are just differnt colar fases.Gold tegus that I have seen have a smoother skin than theClo Blk& wht. They also seem much more tempermentl than the Col Blk& wht.Look at the Gold tegus from Trinidad . There are alsome ,but are not offered in the pet trade.Now the are Some Col Blk & whts that have a faded pale off white on there backs and headf. I have seen some people on the Classifieds Call them Gold tegus. Most gold tegus come from surinam (spelling) That are imported for the pet trade.The one I have Has No White on it at all.So Thats mine opinion About The differenc with Gold tegus And Col BLK& wht tegus.
