At one time I had dedicated myself to tracking down locality specific BCC. But the more I get into them, the more "variety" I see. The imported Peruvians I used to see 10 years ago are quite a bit different than almost all of the cb/fb I'm seeing now. I tried to get opinions on particular boas just as you have, and its really had to tell a lot of these animals from the wc types, since in many cases cb's are either cross bred or color bred. Not many of us dedicate our colections to making an archetypical locality. Be that as it may, there is a lot of variety in the wild as well. In my opinion, a good Peruvian in a nut shell should have- a slate gray background with a yellow overtone, speckled body, black saddles that are well marked, a brick red tail, a long wide head with a strong head stripe, eye lashes and teardrops a definate plus, and roman type of sloping to the bridge of the nose.
Nice boas!
