Hi, It's OK to feed two mice at one time as long as they dont equal to large of a meal.Your better off Money wise to feed one Meal of the wright size.Your better off feeding two of smaller size than one, that is to LARGE.You did'nt say what size of mice you are feeding?A hopper mouse = 8 to 11 gram's, A fuzzy rat = 7 to 11 gram's,A small mouse = 12 to 17 gram's and a med. mouse =18 to 24 gram's,A rat pup = 20 to 25 gram's.It's best with Boa's To switch to Rat's of the wright size.

the mice are 18-24 so do you think she is ready for a small rat?

I use a Feeder that is the same size, as the thickest size of the snake 0r a little smaller,if your feeding a small or med. mouse then a rat pup should be the wright size, you can get rat's in all size's from a breeder.I feed F/T I only feed live if i have to.You can check out some web-site's for Feeder's and they have weight chart's for different size's of mice and rat's and you can get the wright size that way, here's one www.bigcheeserodents.com.

If i try feeding FT if they dont take it should i hold out or
give them a live and try again in a week ?

Well if your Boa has been eating good, and real healthy I would skip a meal, and try again with F/T,if he has never taken F/T it's a good idea to get him switched over, feeding live is just to risky. If he wont take F/T off of tweezers, you can try leaving it in overnight he might take it.If he still wont take F/T then on the next meal i would feed a small live followed by a small F/T sometime's they will take it after live is fed,and maybe you can switch him over that way.
