my snake sometimes does this thing with its face,,it sorts of squashes its face ,,making its face look like a viper,,why does it do that,,it sometimes poops after that

in fact, many colubrids will do it to some extent.
e.g. Nerodia, Thamnophis, some Lampropeltis, Heterodon, etc
