I believe they would work okay for smaller adults. I built one similar (not as pretty, but functional) to the ones you are referring to...but my tubs are 47 inches long and 7 inches tall.
The Boaphile rack will hold humidity well...but I'm not sure how much room a pair of BRBs need to copulate.
