Alrighty, as promised, here are new pictures of Mystyx, my CRB.
Now, these are ALL preshed. She should shed in the next couple days and when she does, I'll snap some glorious post shed pics!
What I love about her preshedding time is the DARK PURPLE you can see all along her sides. I just love this!
It's amazing enough how she is brown by day and at night, her crescents, leopard spots and steel blue sides show up at night. I can't wait to get her a mate!
Here she is, my sweetheart of a rainbow and getting pretty big! She needs a man. Anyone have any extra males? lol! ;D

...She does look like a very healthy snake. CRBs really are stout muscular snakes. It is amazing how different the shed cycle is in CRBs than in BRBs. My CRBs get all white looking like that for days and the BRBs just get a little grayish colored for a day or so than look almost normal colored before they shed.

I love how different the species are though. That's what makes keeping all of them so much fun! I can't wait to get settled in up north so I can concentrate on my soon to be breeders and gradually add more rainbows to my collection. ;D

I love CRBs. To me, they are the best rainbow boas of all the spcies. Granted, I also want some argentines and guyanans to add to my collection.
