Hey,
I have a fairly young leo, that ive had for about a month and a half. He is small as I got him as a baby. He never took to crickets but ate mealworms well(bout 3-5 a night). All of a sudden, he was not eating the worms though they were right in front of him. Being a baby, he is very small and has little to no reserves to tide him over if he is not eating. But i noticed when i placed him next to his water bowl, which had been not able to find i guess, he began drinking fervently. Could this lack of water since he could not find it be the reason for his lack of appetite? Can I expect to see my leo begin eatin? Ive lost 2 others already and I hope to have success with this one. Baby leos drink alot and if there is no water they will not eat. The best way to raise baby leos is in a small tank that way they can find food and water easy. Hope this helps.

HOw come you lost other geckos? Did you have necropsies done on the ones that didnt make it? Are you keeping that one in the tank that the others were in? Im jsut wondering because if he is not eating (not to worry you) and the other ones died 'mysteriously' there may be an infectious contagion involved.
