Ok, I need to know everything I possibly can about Eastern Painted turtles. I'm getting one soon and I'd like to know all the facts. Please share info, stories, and pics. Thanks you sooooo much!!!

You should have found out infor before you got him...
Get the largest ccage you can afford... Make sure he keeps warm and gets PLENTY of UVB.
Also, never feed goldfish, use minnows.
Make sure he can completley dry off out of the water.

You see, that's the thing. I DON'T have him yet. I'm trying to be a good pet owner and do my homework first. I just want to learn about them.

I thought you only had a 20 gallon tank which already has 3 turtles and is filled half way with water(which means it's really a TEN gallon tank).DId you get a new one?If so, that's awesome!
