2003 Japanese ratsnake

This is an interesting specie to work with

I never really confirm copulation since I try not to disturb my Mandarins but I may have taken the male out too early (although she laid her clutch very late last year).

I love how the color gradually changes. Also, the albinos change colors so drastically over two years

How is the care for the Korean rats Thomas as compared to North American rat snakes? I haven't heard a lot about them, but they catch my eye and interest.

They're pretty much just like your standard Asian species; Slightly cooler temps, small meal sizes, aspen for burrowing, and they never bite but are a bit spastic (flighty). They remind me a lot of Mandarins in terms of needs and behavior.

Wow. That's a pretty amel. I hadn't seen the amel Korean rat snake before. How large do the Korean rat snakes get?
Terry Parks
you certainly have some great projects going by the look of your photos. Waiting for eggs to hatch makes me feel like a kid waiting for Christmas again.
Good luck
John
