can my tegu eat hard dog food?

i'm sure it could if it HAD to but i wouldn't recommend it. some people on this board are also highly against feeding any kind of dog food as they say there are many things that are much better to feed them. but that's like saying, i eat every meal and every day according to the food pyramid. i mean... you go to McDonalds every once and awhile and stuff so i don't see why your tegu can't eat dog food. feed it a high quality, soft dog food however and don't make this a habit just because it's easy. use ground turkey and fruits and stuff in there as well.
