Mike,
You get BCC to grow like no other. Email me your feeding schedule, I remember you posting it awhile ago. You get those things bigger than anyone I have seen without them appearing to look powerfeed. I know the FLR genes help, but wow.
Killer PEAKS, color, pattern. I love it! You may have the best suri collection out there........
I try to give them all a strong start in life by feeding frequent small meals. Never enough to bloat them way up. I have never had a Surinam or Guyana regurge. I slow them down close to one year old, depending on their progress, and it becomes random, sometimes large meals, some small, at 1 to 3 week intervals. The larger ones can go months without being fed in the winter. The females are fed more than the males but not necessarily more frequently. I have to feed the males already at breeder size every couple weeks atleast a small meal to keep then happy and healthy.
You definitely should be proud of them! Go take some more pics of the others for me
I can never get enough of those peaks at your place!

How is their growth rate compaired to other bloodlines ? Those are easily some of the nicest BCC ever produced.
Those things are huge...I have a couple from the bats/sal litter that I thought were big approaching a year...but nothing like that...holy smokes!
Speaking of FLR, I can't wait to see what mellow yellow and peaks throw this year...
cheers,
Gabriel Gartner

The 4th one posted is Mellow Yellow's niece. She is turning yellow like her except she has bigger peaks than Mellow Yellow.
Gorgeous. I am envious.
