I prefer reptisun 5.0's, but I have never used the exo-terra bulbs. My bearded dragons and chameleons have done very well with these, in addition to a basking spot with household bulbs. I beleive BigApple Herpetological has reptisun's for 13.99 apiece, which is a good deal if you need 2 or more -S&H is expensive.

I have three veileds that use exo-terra reptiglo 8.0 bulbs and they are very healthy. I have NEVER had any calcium/boone problems or other UV-related problems.
And like the last person said, household bulbs do finely. I go for the unfrosted ones to provide for better colour viewing of the chams, and i find it no different from the 10$ reptile bulbs. 60 or 75 watt should do.
