Which Islands are home to Jacksons, and can they be collected and brought to California?

They're on Oahu for sure. Pretty sure they're on Maui as well. Yes, they can be collected and brought back to the mainland. You need a permit to do so though. You can obtain the permit once you get to Hawaii. I forget where; someone here might be able to help you, or you can do a quick Google search and find it yourself (google search 'chameleon export permit Hawaii').
