Hey Matt, about Jaz..........

phelpcd1 Jul 12, 2004 08:36 AM

I just read your reply to me below. Glad to hear she didn't escape........she is VERY VERY sneaky and loves to climb on top of things. She is so used to having the others for company, I guess she is getting lonely (doubtful, but good to think?). I am so happy she is doing well in the new environment - a big change is usually very hard on the boxies! We have already removed everything except the first pen and we made it smaller by putting up a new wall next to the storage shed. My 2 boys are in a temp home until the new owner can retrieve them - they will live at a turtle ranch in Houston and Murph will have many ladies to keep him busy! I am down to only 2 adult females and 1 juvy female. I plan on keeping these unless something drastic happens where I don't have a suitable place for them outdoors. Anyway, keep me posted, and I'd love to see some new pics of the now "happy couple".

Jaz is doing great. She and Rex are sharing the little wooden house now. We have a second hide in their enclosure but they both seem to prefer the original one made of natural bark best. They are both eating really well. Jaz is expanding her diet. She likes asparagus and eats sweet potato pretty well too. Course they both love fruits of all kinds. They both are also very fond of cherry tomatoes.

Will get some more pics up soon. Just have to get the digital camera away from the wife. We sure go thru ink cartridges now that she has her new digital camera (haha!)
