Hi,

A true albino, or amelanistic snake has a white background color. The snake cannot create any dark pigments and the eyes appear pink or bright red. Lavenders, caramels, T albinos etc., all are able to create and express darker pigments like greys, lavenders and purples, and their background color reflects this, as do their eyes that appear as purple or burgandy when light reflects off of them.

The commonly available albino brooksi king is a lavender type albino, cal kings come in lavenders and true amelanistics, as do other common kings, ball pythons, reticulated pythons, blood pythons corns, garters, black rats and others. The darker albinos are generally more richly colored snakes, as opposed to the white & yellow/orange of the amels. Take care.
