Fred is famous

beardiedragon Jul 12, 2004 10:21 AM

I brought Fred my Red Tegu, a blue tongue skink and a couple of Florida Orange BDs to Lizard day at the Miami museum of science for their 6th annual lizard day. Lots of Igs and BD were there and a few real exotics like a 5 foot asian water monitor. everyone had a great time and animal care was promoted. Fred took first place for largest lizard.

Congratulations! I love the article. I wish you'd let me know about the show, I could have brought Amika and then there would have been a female blue to fight for! Oh, and I noticed the guy with the b&w was feeding him rice krispy treats? Is that ok? If you get a chance, check out the pics and video of Amika in the previous post. I'd be glad to know what you guys think of her. Maybe she'll get an award next year

Amika is beautiful, you should definately bring her. The woman with the B&W is a local show promoter. I dont know her story so I can say much other than I would NEVER feed any of my animals rice crispy treats or any junk food. Heck I don't even use waxworms.

Why dont you give me a ring, I would love to meet all the local folks and put faces to names. I am open to the public by appointment only so give me a shout.
