rough green snake care?

jmadams Jul 12, 2004 10:55 AM

I don't think this is the right place to post this, but I don't know where else I should. I recently purchesed a rought green snake and was wondering on a few tips. I have it on indoor/out door carpet, plenty of fake greenery to hide in, and 2 hides. It also has a nice large water dish. Is there anything I am missing. the pic is from the pet store.

Thanks. joe

I think you have everything covered! Did you make sure it was a good eater before you bought it. I have heard that green snakes are reluctant eaters.

Its a freeking hog!! Ate two medium roaches the first feeding attempt. Well since they can't eat anythign larger than there head is wide, so they were actully small roaches.
